Overpass

Formed from corners of the UK's industrial second city, this midlands four piece came together at a young age with an undying desire to create.

Some 3 years later, they have surpassed every milestone and expectation and are putting the region back on the map. Riding in the wake of Editors and Peace, overpass combine influences past and present to create an entirely fresh take on the indie genre. Their precocious clarity on the world captures the essence of their generation, trapped in helplessness whilst experiencing the same lust and heartbreak as generations before.

Overpass have gained considerable attention since forming, with over 300,000 views across social media platforms and an ever-growing fanbase. Their first single ‘One Night Lover’ received an outpouring of praise, as well as numerous BBC Introducing radio plays. Their debut live show (supporting The Clause) helped establish a reputation as a formidable live act, and led to selling out their very first headline show in under an hour. They recently performed on Soccer AM.

The band are lead vocalist Max who also plays guitar, bassist Indie, drummer Joe and Elliot also on guitar, together they are one of most exciting up and coming Indie bands. They characterise their sound as being influenced by the likes of Inhaler, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and Arctic Monkeys.
