Bang Bang Romeo
This South Yorkshire based band provide a modern twist on a 60s/70s soundscape. They have been described as a "hard edged Fleetwood Mac" but you can also detect influences from the likes of Jefferson Airplane and The Mamas and The Papas.
Recent BBC Radio 1 airplay via Huw Stephens and selection as his "Pick of the week" has seen the band labelled as "The best in new music" and "one of the most exciting new bands in the country." Whilst working with internationally acclaimed producer Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones/INXS) he said the band were "like a Tarantino soundtrack."
This really is a powerful sound - Anastasia Walker's vocals will leave you transfixed but it's the overall "fullness" of their music that is the lasting impression - a class act!
