Nibley Music Festival is a family friendly event, with lots of free activities for the kids. Here are some of the attractions we have booked so far:

We are very excited to be bringing you an inflatable version of a Laser Tag Arena. Played within a fog filled inflatable, constructed of interconnecting, maze-like chambers it will be fun for all the family from 6 years to infinity, and beyond. This is a futuristic experience and with the latest in hi-tech equipment.

The famous Nibley Craft Tent: Back for another year, run by Junkfish.   Liz and a small army of helpers will be bringing you loads of new craft activities from badge making to creating a junk mosaic or painting a flower to add to our enchanted garden. We promise there will be plenty of painting, sticking, making, playing and even a cosy book corner to keep the kids happy (and a few adults too!).   This year we will also have an outdoor area for large scale junk building where you can help build a giant ball run, den, teddy catapult… or just see where your imagination leads.   To get kids exploring we have a ‘Find the Fish’ trail with a small prize for finding all the fish hidden around the site.   At The Silly Hat Stand you can choose from hundreds of hats, wigs and accessories then strike a pose in one of our frames for a photo.  And of course our giant hula hoops will be waiting for anyone and everyone to come along and have a go.   And best of all… all these activities are completely free!  junkfish.co.uk

Technology for Fun: Enjoy designing and making models that really work? Caroline Alliston, local author of Technology for Fun, and her team are running drop in sessions where you can make your own balloon hovercraft, CD racers and balloon powered buggies. Bring along your teddy and make a teddy zip wire to take home. If you enjoy these makes you can take home her book for just £5 and have fun making many more things out of ordinary objects found around the home. technologyforfun.co.uk

The Playbus: Do your kids like soft-play? Do they like big yellow buses? Of course they do and both are combined in our Festival Playbus so they can get rid of all their excess energy whilst the grown-ups have a Summer Holiday (minus Cliff and Una!)

Pre school Play Area and Baby Change: Provided by North Nibley Pre School. The friendly and professional Pre School operates during school term times Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and accepts children aged 2 to 5. The Toddler group for under 5′s is on Mondays 9.30 to 11am. Both groups operate from the Village Hall.

Chill Out Zone: In the evening the Craft Tent steps down a gear, with some DIY activities, book corner and cushions and rugs to relax on.
