Charly Coombes and the New Breed

A contemporary rock & roll band, with one finger in a warm 60′s Soul Pie.  They met in Oxford around the summer of 2009 and were instantly singing from the same hymn sheet.  After two months of rehearsals working on singer/songwriter Charly’s back-catalogue, Dave, Jake, Rory and Charly played their first live performance on the Cowley Road in Oxford.

The songs are fresh, but the pedigree shines through – Charly played keyboards in 22-20s, touring with Oasis in 2005, and he has often stepped in to play with Supergrass.  Tell your friends you saw them first at Nibley.
